The MA (MCJ) BATCH2007 had the opportunity to learn Research Methodologies and Radio Journalism from Dr. Ujjwala Barve. She is an alumnus of the docj. She worked as a sub-editor of a Marathi daily, newscaster of All India Radio (New Delhi) and is a newscaster for an Australia-based broadcast service. She was also the news editor of video news bulletin 'Pune Varta'.Dr. Barve also hosts current affairs programme 'Maha Charcha' on DD Sahyadri. Her research for the Ph.D thesis was on use of Marathi language in Marathi broadcasts - mainly news.
